Founded by two veteran Los Angeles STEAM teachers, Design Hive is committed to supporting schools in STEAM and Maker Education. Our mission is to build important technical skills in students while fostering an environmental, sustainable, and an empathy-driven mindset.

Our program guides students and teachers through a structured yet flexible process of learning, making, and community engagement. By integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) into our curriculum, we empower students to tackle real-world challenges with innovative solutions. Social-emotional learning (SEL) skills are a key component of what we teach, ensuring students develop not only technical expertise but also the emotional intelligence to collaborate effectively and make a positive impact on the world.
